Love's Travel Stops is hiring Maintenance Technicians to maintain a safe, clean, and well‑functioning facility and to support store operations. No experience? We will teach you!

This role involves assisting multiple departments, operating maintenance tools, and upholding safety policies to ensure a positive customer experience for travelers. The position requires lifting 25+ pounds and working in varied temperatures.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and perform varied maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the store and facility.
• Support store, restaurant, and truck care departments with maintenance needs.
• Operate and maintain equipment to support HVAC, fuel, refrigeration, and related systems.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction in all tasks.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions:

• This is a customer-facing position with general customer service duties including, but not limited to, providing assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Assisting store, restaurant, and truck care departments with general cleaning, maintenance, stocking, and customer service needs.
• Use of various tools and equipment to clean and maintain the overall facility operations to include, but not limited to, equipment repair and maintenance (HVAC systems, fuel systems, service trucks, refrigeration systems, etc.), pressure washing, plumbing repair, site inspections, and other assigned duties.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
