Job summary

Urban Self Storage is seeking a dedicated part-time Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This role supports five facilities in the region, performing routine maintenance, repairs, and safety checks to keep units and buildings in top condition.

The position runs Tuesday through Saturday, about 27 hours per week, with duties including upkeep, record-keeping, and prompt responses to maintenance requests. Prior maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry work.

• Knowledge of basic computer functions and mobile apps.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Urban Self Storage is looking for a dedicated part-time Maintenance Technician to join our growing team! As a Maintenance Technician you serve a critical role in providing quality storage solutions by ensuring our location is operating at its best.

This Part Time position works Tuesday through Saturday for around 27 hours per week.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks at five self-storage facilities (Philomath, Corvallis, Albany, Keizer, Woodburn)
• Conduct repairs & upkeep of storage units, buildings & equipment
• Ensure the property is clean, safe & well-maintained
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests & emergencies
• Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance records
• Report daily to Store Manager with progress & pending tasks

Essential Job Functions & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
• Ability to regularly walk the property to conduct inspections and security checks
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform maintenance-related tasks
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools, including drills and lock-cutting equipment, to perform delinquency enforcement procedures, customer-requested lock removals, and other facility maintenance tasks
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to operate computers, tablets, phones, and standard office equipment for extended periods
• Ability to read computer screens, review digital records, and complete data entry and typing tasks accurately

Compensation

• $20 to $21 Per Hour
