Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Michigan is looking for Maintenance Technicians to keep our facilities safe, clean, and well‑maintained. This customer‑facing role supports store, restaurant, and truck care operations and helps ensure fast, friendly service for travelers.

No prior experience required; we provide training. You’ll use a variety of tools to clean, repair, and maintain equipment and systems (HVAC, fuel systems, plumbing, etc.), and you must be able to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying

• Assisting store, restaurant, and truck care with cleaning, maintenance, stocking and customer service needs

• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience
• Assist store, restaurant and truck care departments with maintenance and service tasks
• Use tools and equipment to clean and maintain the facility and repair/maintain HVAC systems, fuel systems, trucks, refrigeration, etc.
• Cross-train in Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance and Leadership Roles
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policies
• Maintain ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures

Job Functions

• This is a customer-facing position with general customer service duties including, but not limited to, providing assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Assisting store, restaurant, and truck care departments with general cleaning, maintenance, stocking, and customer service needs.
• Use of various tools and equipment to clean and maintain the overall facility operations to include, but not limited to, equipment repair and maintenance (HVAC systems, fuel systems, service trucks, refrigeration systems, etc.), pressure washing, plumbing repair, site inspections, and other assigned duties.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
