Job summary

Monroe Group LTD is seeking a maintenance technician to perform general building repairs and unit make-ready duties on empty units.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting and appliance repair, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety standards are followed. The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of maintenance experience, with a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Experience in affordable housing preferred.
• Technical training and licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and carpentry repairs.
• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized records of appliance replacement, carpets, and paints.
• Prepare vacant units to Monroe Group standards, coordinating vendors as needed.
• Monitor building systems and assist outside contractors as required.
• Respond to 24-hour emergency maintenance calls and on-call duties.
