Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance tasks across stabilized properties. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and support make-ready inspections for vacant units. The role requires environmentally conscious repairs and adherence to safety standards.

You will also help maintain grounds and common areas, follow inventory procedures, and participate in cost-control efforts. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance or repair experience.
• EPA refrigerant certifications Type I/II or Universal required.
• Valid driver’s license for property access.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and inspect completed work.
• Accesses materials and tracks inventory with supervision.
• Documents service requests accurately.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
