Job summary

Miracle Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform daily repairs, inspections, and routine maintenance to ensure quality care for residents and patients.

You must pass a Level 2 Background Screening and a drug test; OSHA safety rules apply. Responsibilities include on-call maintenance, grounds work, and supporting environmental services while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Working knowledge of regulations governing skilled nursing is required.
• Previous maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
• Must pass a drug screening.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Pleasant and cheerful personality.
• Tactful and courteous approach with residents, family members, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Follow all policies/procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Inspect maintenance related items for a nursing-care facility.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility and equipment (painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Maintain grounds, parking areas, and driveways.
• Complete preventative maintenance and keep records.
• Manage supplies and inventory of all equipment.
• Provide professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Prepare units awaiting new occupant arrivals.
• Respond to maintenance requests and on-call emergencies.
• Operate within OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Coordinate with Environmental Services to support resident care.
• Attend mandatory in-service/workshops.
