Job summary

Camaco LLC in the United States is seeking a maintenance technician for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 6pm–2:30am) with mandatory overtime to keep the plant running smoothly and the work areas clean.

You will perform preventive maintenance and assist with repairs to equipment and facilities, while following safety practices and reporting any defects to the supervisor.

A high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of plant floor experience are required; familiarity with automotive manufacturing helps.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and assists in repairs to equipment, building, and housekeeping.
• Works safely and addresses unsafe conditions to protect self and others.
• Maintains a maintenance schedule and tracks service due dates.
• Reports defects, damages, and malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Runs errands as needed and communicates with coworkers to complete tasks.
• Completes assigned duties as directed by the supervising manager.
• Performs other duties as required by the department.

2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 6pm to 2:30am (plus mandatory OT)

Purpose

Responsible for assisting in machine repair and minor building repairs to keep the plant running smoothly and maintaining the cleanliness of work areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance, assist in maintenance repairs to a wide variety of equipment, building, and general housekeeping.
• Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe conditions. Takes appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others in the building.
• Maintains a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.
• Report defects, damages and malfunctions of any kind to the supervising authority.
• Run errands as needed.
• Communicate with co-workers and others to carry out job duties.
• Effectively complete all tasks as assigned by the supervising manager.
• Various other duties as required by the department.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 plus years of related work experience with plant floor experience.

Competencies

• Thoroughness.
• Ability to operate basic tools and equipment related to the maintenance and repair of equipment and machines.

• Familiarity with automotive manufacturing
• Computer skills and math skills sufficient to perform department related tasks required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on the plant floor.
