Job summary

Avancez Assembly is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Arlington facility on the night shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to support continuous operations and safety standards.

This role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, and PLC-based troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in production, and hold electrical/robotic/mechanical/fabrication certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a production environment.
• Technical certification preferred in electrical, robotic, mechanical, or fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and shift start-up duties.
• Analyze machine performance and implement improvement actions.
• Ensure lockout/tagout procedures are followed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

JOB SUMMARY:

A Maintenance Tech is responsible for working in a fast-paced environment to perform a variety of highly diverse duties such as trouble shooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment according to safety predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes that support the achievement of Android’s business goals and objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Launch activity
• Controls
• Preventative maintenance
• Shift start up
• EOSR/Communication
• Work with minimal supervision
• OE – Daily Report – Down time report
• Ensure all machinery is functional for production
• Analyze and measure machinery performance
• CI’s
• LPA’s
• Respond to maintenance calls to the line
• Analyze machine performance and recommend improvement processes
• Preventative maintenance
• Respond to maintenance calls to the line
• Repair broken/defective equipment
• Ensure lockout /tagout procedures are followed.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Parts inventory
• Report out any continuous improvement
• Document process improvements
• Tracking any production downtime
• OT as required/flexible schedules
• All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience: 2+ years working in a production environment

Technical certification preferred in one of the following fields: electrical, robotic, mechanical, and or fabrication

TRAVEL:

Travel Required: minimum

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Robotics, mechanical, welding, electrical knowledge

PLC and schematics experience

Allen Bradley and siemens step 7

Mechanical skills

Ability to work from heights

Ability to work in confined spaces

Mechanical safety requirements

Safety certification preferred

Strong mechanical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Basic understanding of building maintenance

Ability to read and understand building schematics

Strong oral and written communication skills

Acts as an independent leader and also transitions to a team player when needed

Proficient in Microsoft office
