Job summary

Quality Support Services is hiring a hands-on Maintenance Technician for our Distribution Center. The role covers day-to-day maintenance, minor repairs, and upkeep of warehouse and office facilities, grounds, and equipment. Requires experience in light electrical and/or light HVAC, and the ability to manage painting and drywall tasks.

Salary starts at $21-25/hr, with a great benefits package and immediate start after interview. Must pass drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in facilities or building maintenance.
• Experience in light electrical and/or light HVAC; indicate area of strength.
• Hands-on experience with painting, drywall repair, and grounds maintenance.
• Able to operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment.
• Comfortable in both warehouse and office environments.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance: inspect and address maintenance needs; complete work orders timely.
• Light Electrical: replace fixtures and troubleshoot basic issues, escalate when needed.
• Light HVAC: perform routine maintenance and monitor systems.
• Equipment Maintenance: repair warehouse equipment and coordinate with vendors.
• Groundskeeping: maintain exterior areas and inspect lighting and drainage.
• Painting & Drywall: patch, repair, and finish surfaces in spaces.

Job description

Distribution Center looking for maintenance techniciansto conduct inspecting, repairing, maintaining equipment, building systems, and facility infrastructure.

1st Shift: 5:00am - 1:00pm, Monday - Friday

Starting salary at $21-25hr depending on experience.

About the Role:

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with experience in light electrical and/or light HVAC though candidates with experience in general maintenance are also welcome to apply.

This is a hands‑on, full‑time position responsible for day‑to‑day maintenance, minor repairs, and upkeep of our warehouse and office facilities, grounds, and equipment. No two days look exactly the same; if you enjoy variety and take pride in keeping things running smoothly, this could be a great fit.

Duties:

General Maintenance:

• Perform routine facility inspections and address maintenance needs proactively
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Maintain tools and supply inventory; coordinate with vendors as needed
• Follow safety regulations and company policies

Light Electrical:

• Replace lighting fixtures, ballasts, bulbs, and outlet covers
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues; elevate to licensed electricians when needed
• Support low voltage wiring installation for signage and fixtures

Light HVAC:

• Perform routine HVAC maintenance including filter changes and belt inspections
• Monitor heating and cooling systems; elevate issues to licensed HVAC technicians when needed
• Assist with seasonal startup/shutdown of HVAC equipment

Equipment Maintenance:

• Troubleshoot equipment and facility systems
• Maintain and repair bundlers, dock plates, dock doors, and miscellaneous warehouse and office equipment upkeep
• Refer repairs as needed to the Ops Manager and/or appropriate vendors

Groundskeeping:

• Maintain exterior appearance: litter cleanup, upkeep the designated smoking area, monitor pest activity, conduct tree risk assessments; elevate issues to property management when needed
• Inspect drainage, parking lot surfaces, and exterior lighting

Painting & Drywall:

• Patch, repair, and finish drywall in office and warehouse spaces
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces to maintain a clean, professional appearance
• Prep surfaces and ensure quality finishes

What We Are Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in facilities or building maintenance
• Experience in light electrical, light HVAC, or both; candidates with either or both are encouraged to apply. Please note your area of strength when you reach out.
