Job summary

DP World Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep facilities and production equipment running smoothly at our Olive Branch plant. This role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.

You will diagnose problems, repair or replace parts, perform preventative maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Experience maintaining facilities and equipment in large facilities.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to maintain facilities and plant equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and routine maintenance of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems; test and adjust; advise subcontractors if needed.
• Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, and suggest improvements or subcontractors as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Perform highly diversified duties to maintain facilities and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of facilities and/or equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic; troubleshoot and repair of facilities and equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments or recommend subcontractors to address such problems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• Position requires a high school diploma. A college degree is preferred.
• Experience performing facility and equipment related maintenance in a large facility.
• Experience working with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and material handling equipment.
