Job summary

Plastipak in Pineville, LA is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining blow molding and injection molding equipment to ensure continuous, efficient operations and strict safety and quality standards.

You will perform preventative maintenance, support changeovers, repair and rebuild spare parts, and pursue training to expand expertise, including new equipment installation and modification projects.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on blow molding and injection molding equipment.
• Execute and improve preventative maintenance procedures.
• Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient and correct execution.
• Repair and rebuilds spare parts.
• Assure compliance with safety, quality, operational practices & procedures.
• Expand expertise through training and on-the-job experiences, including new equipment installation & modification projects.
