Job summary

STARPLUS ENERGY LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician-Mechanical to ensure continuous, uninterrupted production operations. This role involves basic and advanced mechanical work under the Maintenance Supervisor, contributing to a safe and efficient facility.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting PLC and instrumentation issues, coordinating with production, and maintaining maintenance records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to travel domestically/internationally with notice may be required.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Must be able to perform physical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work is completed safely and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Troubleshoot automation and instrumentation issues (PLC, AC Drives, HMI, devices, etc.).
• Coordinate with production to schedule preventive maintenance and review work orders.
• Assist in training maintenance personnel as required.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance documents (work orders, daily reports).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician-Mechanical will engage in equipment maintenance to ensure continuous, uninterrupted production operations. This position will be involved with basic and advanced mechanical work as needed and as qualified. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
• Perform responsibilities of conducting corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment to ensure proper operation of machinery
• Troubleshoot automation and instrumentation issues on equipment (PLC, AC Drives, HMI, devices, etc.)
• Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance as well as review repair work orders and discuss TPM activities
• Assist in training maintenance personnel as required
• Accurately prepare and maintain maintenance-related documents, including work orders, daily reports, etc.
• Perform other position related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Minimum 4 years of related experience
• While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
• Ability to perform the physical demands of a maintenance activities
• Basic maintenance tool understanding and ability to use tools properly
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical system troubleshooting and repair

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge with electricity and electronics Pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting and repair
• Fabrication experience
• CAD based software proficiency
• Robotics (including end of arm tooling) repair and programming experience

Working Conditions:

• Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals
• Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• May be exposed to cleanroom environment, welding, mixing, noise, high temperature, low humidity, air-conditioning, CT Scan, X-Ray, and high-security areas.
