Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a maintenance technician to support a 200,000 sq ft facility in Augusta, Maine. The role reports to the Facilities Manager and focuses on keeping refrigeration, HVAC, dock equipment, and material handling systems running smoothly.

Responsibilities include general construction, plumbing, electrical, painting, and ensuring a safe work environment. Requires a High School Diploma, 6–12 months maintenance experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 6-12 months maintenance experience.
• Mechanically inclined to fix dock plates, garage doors, pallet jacks and operate industrial tools.
• Ability to do general carpentry repairs and painting of walls, ceilings, flooring, etc.
• Computer skills to work with POs, work orders, read blueprints and process flows.
• Must be able to use ladders, powered lifts.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally and lesser weight regularly.

Job Summary
