Advance Polybag – Nevada, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.

The role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and equipment servicing under the Plant Maintenance Manager/Engineer. The successful candidate will have hands-on mechanical aptitude, a strong safety ethic, and the ability to learn from experienced maintenance personnel while supporting

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance experience preferred.
• General mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and work with maintenance staff.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on plant equipment and machinery.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, bearings, pumps and other components.
• Lubricate and adjust bag machines and extrusion equipment per PM schedules.
• Change and clean filters and maintain clean work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
