Job summary

MPP is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support operations at our Rockwood, TN facility. This role maintains production equipment and facility systems under the Maintenance Manager's direction, requiring strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Friday–Sunday, 7:00am–7:30pm shifts and on-call coverage may apply. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, basic PLCs, and welding (MIG

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience
Minimum of 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Basic PLC experience preferred

Responsibilities

Safely select and use basic shop, power, and hand tools.
Perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production and preventive maintenance.
Diagnose issues and replace defective parts; read blueprints and work orders.
Install and maintain power supply systems, conduit, wiring, and programmable controllers.
Welding tasks (MIG & ARC) as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
