Job summary

Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide hands-on maintenance and repair support across all grocery store locations.

Responsibilities include repairing small equipment, performing general maintenance such as carpentry and flooring, and conducting preventative maintenance.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and broad mechanical and electrical knowledge; HVAC is a plus; must lift up to 100 pounds and operate a forklift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, basic knowledge of maintenance including mechanical and electrical.
• HVAC experience is a plus.
• General knowledge of maintenance, carpentry and floor coverings needed.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing hands‑on maintenance and repair support across all grocery store locations

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repair of small equipment used by retail location
• Responsible for general maintenance including carpentry, floor coverings and mechanical repairs.
• Preventative maintenance tasks as assigned for store locations.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and general knowledge of all aspects of maintenance both mechanical and electrical as well as small equipment repair. HVAC exo is a PLUS!
