Job summary

Six Flags Great America & Hurricane Harbor seeks a Kitchen Repair Technician to safely maintain, repair and rehab equipment across the Maintenance Division; plumbing, kitchen equipment repair, HVAC/R, aquatic systems & water quality.

Responsibilities include inspections, rehab work, preventive maintenance and accurate records. Must troubleshoot safely, hold a HS diploma and a valid driver’s license, and be available for varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Plumbing, HVAC/R, Aquatic Systems and Water Quality.
• Practical skills and willingness to learn in Plumbing, HVAC/R, Aquatic Systems, Water Quality.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing & natural gas systems preferred.
• Flexibility to work any shift including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to troubleshoot clearly, calmly and safely around Guests and Team Members.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work with many devices.
• Requires a valid Driver’s License and HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections of assigned equipment and locations.
• Perform rehab work on assigned equipment and locations.
• Maintain, install, repair and troubleshoot various items, equipment and locations.
• Inspect equipment and locations for malfunctions and repair.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on various pieces of equipment.
• Assist with keeping a daily duty log and records of maintenance.
• Coordinate with other park departments to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Comply with company procedures, policies and safety standards.
• Help ensure compliance with government codes and corporate mandates.
• All other duties as assigned.
