Job summary

Hallandale Pharmacy is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, and building systems at our Fort Lauderdale facility. The role focuses on keeping facilities safe, efficient, and minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.

The position requires strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, plus the ability to read manuals and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance experience in building or equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints and diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varied environments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of equipment and facilities.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedules.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Install, maintain, and replace equipment and machinery as needed.
• Keep maintenance records and complete work orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs.
• Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
