Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to support production lines and perform routine facility upkeep at our Wisconsin plant.

The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and reliable operation of industrial equipment essential to our manufacturing process. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years’ related experience or training in industrial maintenance, with strong communication skills across departments and a focus on adherence

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience, or related instruction in maintaining industrial equipment, automation or product repair.
• Ability to communicate across departments.
• Knowledge of OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO and NEC.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.


• 2 years of experience, or related instruction in maintaining industrial equipment, automation or product repair.


• Ability to effectively communicate across departments.


• Ability to identify problems and implement solutions.


• Ability to safely and proficiently perform maintenance and related activities of equipment, building, and grounds.


• Ability to prioritize daily and weekly work assignments as needed.


• Demonstrated knowledge in OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO and NEC.


• PIV training and certification.


• Airial lift training and certification.


• Knowledge of basic PC functions including Windows knowledge.
