Job summary

The LEGO Group in Richmond Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to ensure LEGO packaging equipment reliability through preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, following safety and quality standards.

You will train the team on mechanical, electrical, wiring, HMI and PLC concepts, lead small projects, and support continuous improvements (5S, PPS, RIE) while collaborating across shifts.

Qualifications

• Associates/technical degree or certificate in lieu of experience.
• Experience in Automation, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Mechanics, Electricity or Electronics preferred.
• Ladder Logic programming and PLC experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain LEGO packing equipment in good condition for production.
• Provide SME guidance on mechanical, electrical, wiring, HMI and PLC topics.
• Lead preventative, proactive and corrective maintenance activities.

## Maintenance Technician IIIApply: Richmond Manufacturing: Full time: Posted Today: 0000038761**Job Description****Starting Pay:** $36.85/hour**Shift Differential:** 10% for night shift ($40.53)**Schedule:** Rotating 2-2-3 shift pattern (day and night shifts) # **What You'll Do**Assure the reliability of the LEGO equipment through theTotal Productivity Maintenance and increasing efficiency andproductivity, reducing the maintenance cost by following thesafety and quality standards in a self-sufficient manner whileworking with other team members.Focus areas:* Production/Process support.* Continuous improvement in machinery and processes.* Roll out Projects of new machinery. # **Basic Qualifications*** Maintain the LEGO packing equipment in appropriate conditions to ensure the production according to companies' trust and product quality by working with the team in corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance.* As Subject Matter Expert - consult and train the team on mechanical, electrical, wiring, HMI, PLC knowledge and experience, programming and OT knowledge* Ensure daily equipment repair through preventative, proactive, and corrective maintenance.* Perform continuous improvement projects (5S, PPS, RIE, Focus board, etc.)* Validate Preventative Maintenance is done to standard* Team communication to shift lead (deliver information using the escalation path of for shift including communication to team members and stakeholders for problems/failures in line)* Work alongside spare parts in warehouse and support MRO activities.* Problem solving using root cause analysis.* Assist in training and onboarding new employees along with shadowing* Expert in packing equipment (PPK + FPK)* Computer knowledge (Microsoft MS Office)* Continuous improvement mindset and problem solving experience* Leadership soft skills* Mechanical and electrical experience* Wiring, HMI, and PLC knowledge and experience* Programming and OT knowledge and experience # **Preferred Qualifications*** Associates/technical degree or certificate in lieu of experience.* Experience in the following one or more of the following: Automation, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Electric and electronic diagrams, Mechanical diagrams, robotics* Ladder Logic Programming skills* Rockwell Automation knowledge (RSLogix 5000, RSLinx, Factory Talk View Studio)* PLC experience (Allen Bradley & Siemens)**Compensation**The salary for this position has a range of $36.85 - $36.85 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
