Job Description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician III to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks. A Maintenance Technician III is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairing production equipment as required, while working with the shift lead hand and members of the team to complete electrical and mechanical projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
2. Estimate time and extent of repairs
3. Perform routine preventive maintenance
4. Perform installation, set up, modification and relocation of equipment to accommodate or improve production requirements.
5. Read/write electrical and electronic schematics/diagrams, basic hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
6. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
7. Maintain compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and recommend measures to improve health and safety.
8. Repair and replace electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic and electronic components such as motors, contactors, relays, timers, types of switches, PLCs, light curtains, motor controls and valves.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields.
2. Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
3. Able to read wiring diagrams, electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics and ladder/function block logic.
4. Working knowledge of industrial PCs and PLCs (Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCat, etc.) and electric circuitry consisting of contactors, relays, main voltage/control voltage, limit switches and proximity sensors.
5. Ability to handle physical workload.
6. Deadline and detail-oriented.
