Job summary

Skechers USA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex automated warehouse systems in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical failures, service PLCs, motor control panels, sensors, and conveyor systems, with a focus on high-speed sortation and AS/RS components. This role requires independent problem-solving and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience with automated systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards and industrial safety practices.
• Experience with Warehouse Control Systems and HMI interfaces.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at variable heights with proper PPE.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical failures on complex automated warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to the input/output level under supervision.
• Diagnose and repair motor control panels, including starters, relays, breakers, and fuses.
• Maintain and repair sensors, barcode readers, and dimensions.
• Repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including compressors, valves, actuators, and cylinders.
• Perform fabrication work using cutting, drilling, and welding per hot work standards.
