Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to keep guest units and buildings in excellent working order. You will use your HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and repair skills to deliver quality results and ensure guest satisfaction.

The role involves performing preventive maintenance, repairing walls and ceilings, and addressing safety concerns while coordinating with supervisors and teams to maintain property standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with facilities maintenance incl. HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general repairs.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on systems such as HVAC.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair guest units and buildings to ensure they are in proper working order.
• Perform plumbing tasks including pipes, drains, fittings, and fixtures.
• Replace electrical components and troubleshoot electrical hazards.
• Complete preventative maintenance on HVAC and building systems.
• Repair interior walls and ceilings, patching and painting as needed.
• Inspect building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Adhere to safety programs and company policies.

How You’ll Shine:

As a Maintenance Tech II, you’ll make dream vacations by providing quality results for our guests by using your maintenance skills, customer service expertise and guaranteeing each unit and building is in perfectly working order.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Apply intermediate working knowledge of facilities maintenance such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and repairs as needed.

Performs plumbing maintenance such as pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers and Jacuzzi tubs using methods that include soldering, PVC, CPVC and fittings.

Replaces breakers, ballasts and other electrical fixtures including switches and sockets; prevent and trouble shoot possible electric hazards.

Completes preventative programs on all systems such as HVAC.

Complete repairs on interior walls, wall coverings and ceilings by patching drywall, replacing wood or wall coverings or texture and painting.

Clean and inspect building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor.

Adhere to the company’s safety programs.
