Job summary

Ingram Content Group in Lavergne, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the Distribution team. Under limited supervision, you will diagnose and repair distribution center facilities and equipment, performing preventive maintenance and downtime-critical repairs to OEM standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 3+ years in facility maintenance, including 2+ years electrical and 2 years conveyor maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a facility maintenance position, with 2+ years in electrical repair.
• 2 years conveyor maintenance and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates equipment failures and provides complex emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
• Ensures repairs and equipment downtime does not negatively impact the ability to meet service level agreements.
• Performs complex technical duties, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production/facility machines.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
• Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Detects faulty operations, defective material and makes necessary repairs; reports unusual situations to supervision.
• Operates motorized equipment as necessary for driving and repairs (forklift, order selector, pallet jack, floor sweeper, etc.).
• Complies with safety regulations and maintains a clean, orderly work area.
• Helps maintain documentation for facility and equipment.
