Job summary

Trinity Property Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Dallas, TX. You will independently handle service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and complete make-ready turns while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires multi-trade skills (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), readiness for on-call duties, and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and may hold EPA Universal Certification or CPO certification.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of maintenance experience required, multifamily preferred.
  • Intermediate-level skills across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • EPA Universal Certification preferred; CPO Certification preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Independently complete service requests and make-ready turns.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and building inspections.
  • Respond to on-call and emergency service requests.
  • Maintain inventory and shop organization.
  • Complete required safety and compliance training.

Compensation:$24 to $27 hourly,depending on experience,plus lease renewal bonuses.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with participation in an on-call rotation.

What You’ll Do

Skilled Repairs & Diagnostics

  • Independently complete service requests and make-readyturns.
  • Diagnose and repair intermediate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and building inspections.

Operational Execution

  • Participate in move-in/move-out inspections.
  • Maintain inventory and shop organization.
  • Respond to on-call and emergency service requests.

Safety, Tools & Compliance

  • Demonstrate safe operation of tools, diagnosticequipment,and chemical safety procedures.
  • Maintain personal tool inventory.
  • Complete required safety and compliance training.

Additional Duties

  • This role may includeadditionalduties consistent with the position.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 2+yearsmaintenance experiencerequired(multifamily preferred).
  • Intermediate-level skills across multiple trades(electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of appliances.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Certifications

  • Universal EPA Certification is preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certificationis preferred (where applicable).

Skills

  • Comfortable diagnosing routine HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues.
  • Ability to complete full make-ready turns independently.
  • Safe use of meters and diagnostic tools.
  • Proficient with work-order systems and basiccomputer and mobiletechnology.
Other Requirements

Availability

This position will require availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.

Physical Demands

This positionnecessitatesregular periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching as well as use of hands and arms. The role may requirelifting50 pounds independently. The ability to respond promptly to both visual and auditory alarms is essential. Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The teammembermust be able to work both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet. Working ata personal computer for administrative tasks and using mobile devices while in the field isrequired.
