Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for the afternoon shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) in Hagerstown, MD. You will maintain and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance and keep detailed service records in a dynamic warehouse environment.

The role requires 2 years as a multi-craft technician with knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems, plus the ability to read schematics and operate CMMS. A technical degree or vocational training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a multi-craft technician.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Preferred technical degree or vocational training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities and equipment in safe, good working order.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment and panels.
• Carry out preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Document maintenance, repairs, parts usage and projects.
• Manage spare parts inventory and supply.
• Ensure equipment starts properly at shift start.
• Inspect and repair machines, electronics, conveyors and facilities.
• Diagnose problems by observing mechanics and listening to devices.
• Troubleshoot conveyor systems (mechanical and electrical).
