Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support an industrial laundry facility in Harahan, LA. Duties include repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting critical equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers, along with preventive maintenance and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on repair experience, can read English maintenance literature and blueprints, and are proficient with basic MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and welding activities.
• Respond to emergency alarms and resolve safety concerns.
• Maintain inventory and prepare maintenance records.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I partners.
