Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support an industrial laundry facility in Sacramento, CA. You will repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, and boilers, while performing preventive maintenance and welding tasks.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on repair experience, ability to read English maintenance literature and blueprints, and the stamina to stand most of an 8-hour shift. HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and various welding activities.
• Respond to emergency alarms and resolve safety concerns.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I partners.
• Prepare maintenance records and monitor work by service companies.
• Maintain inventory and housekeeping.

Job Description

Cintas isseeking a Maintenance Technician II to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including but limited to washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; performing preventive/predictive maintenance; performing various welding activities; preforming boiler chemical testing and making necessary chemistry adjustments; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; maintaining inventory supplies; preparing maintenance records; identifying and evaluating, monitoring work performed by inside and outside service companies; responding to emergency alarms; and mentoring Maintenance Technician I partners.

Required

• 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
• Experience and ability to perform welding activities such as MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $33.73 - $43.13/Hour. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
