Job summary

Freudenberg Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift. The role focuses on basic maintenance of equipment and facilities, supporting experienced technicians, learning procedures, and gradually developing troubleshooting skills to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, familiarity with hydraulics/pneumatics, and experience reading maintenance manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Good knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery (heavy equipment including conveyor lines experience preferred).
• Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, blueprints, and schematics - strong safety awareness around equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience in PLC programming or troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of equipment and facilities.
• Assist more experienced technicians and learn maintenance procedures through on-the-job training.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and support day-to-day operations to keep machinery running smoothly.
