Job summary

HomeTowne Studios & Suites by Red Roof in Spokane Valley is seeking a Maintenance Technician II with a starting wage of up to $21.00–$23.00 per hour. The role involves assisting in maintenance and cleaning tasks across guest rooms and public areas, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining a safe, clean property for guests and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to resolve guest

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience and education.
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed by the facility manager.
• Assist in preventive maintenance in guest rooms and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and remove debris in stairwells, entrances, exits, and surrounding areas.
• Paint assigned areas including signs, poles, stairwells, doors, walls, and curbs.
• Replace light bulbs as needed.
• Maintain a clean parking lot and surrounding grounds.
• Resolve customer complaints independently or as directed by supervisor.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Specific Requirements:

• Assist in the performance of all maintenance and cleaning tasks assigned by facility manager.
