Fairfield Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Canyon Rim, a 504-unit community in San Diego, CA. You will perform daily maintenance, diagnose issues, repair electrical, plumbing, and appliances, and prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
You will also participate in on-call rotations to support safe, clean, and appealing living spaces. Qualified candidates have at least one year of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our residential community. You will be responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing issues in electrical, plumbing, and appliances, and preparing vacant apartments for new residents. You will also participate in the emergency on-call rotation. Your work will directly impact the safety, cleanliness, and overall appeal of the property, contributing to a positive living experience for our residents. The Maintenance Technician II at Canyon Rim is eligible for a 40% apartment allowance if living on-site.

*The sign-on bonus, less usual deductions, will be paid following the completion of 90 days of employment. Current Fairfield associates are not eligible to receive a sign-on bonus.
Estimated Rate of Pay: $23.29 - $30.27 This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates. The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any).
Pay range is a calculation based on a midpoint price. Fairfield complies with all wage and hour laws, including minimum wage and salary exempt requirements.
