Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support an industrial laundry facility in Mt. Pleasant, PA. You will repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, and boilers on a swing shift.

Required: 2+ years' experience, ability to read English maintenance literature and blueprints, and the stamina to stand 7 hours. A High School Diploma/GED is required; boiler/HVAC and welding skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment (washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers).
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and monitor safety concerns.
• Conduct indoor/outdoor housekeeping and maintain maintenance records.
• Monitor inventory and assist with maintenance supplies.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory supplies and maintaining maintenance records.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years'experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
• Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing
