Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is actively seeking a Maintenance Technician I to monitor, maintain, and repair crushers, conveyors, and sizing screens in our rock crushing processing plant. The role emphasizes welding, belt changes, and gear maintenance while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The candidate will perform site walkarounds, assist with plant mode changes, and work in varying weather conditions. Experience in quarry operations and strong teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write basic instructions.
• Experience in quarry or sand mining operations preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and repair crushers, conveyors and sizing screens.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on site equipment.
• Grease bearings, replace guards and belts, and adjust machinery as needed.
• Operate skid steer and assist with plant mode changes.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and communicate issues to quality personnel.
• Maintain communication and support coworkers as required.
