Job summary

Action Property Management in Los Angeles is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to support the Solair team. You’ll maintain common areas, patch and paint, repair wallpaper, and assist with cleaning engineering spaces. Under the Chief Building Engineer, you’ll respond to emergencies such as floods, fires, power outages, and earthquakes.

Ongoing hands-on training is provided, with potential advancement to a full-time Building Engineer role. Schedule: Sunday – Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or property management.
• Must be at least 18 and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and drywall.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair common areas as directed by the Chief Building Engineer.
• Patch and paint, wallpaper repair, and cleaning of engineering spaces.

Action is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to join our Solair team in Los Angeles.

Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 Hourly plus benefits

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday 8:00 am -4:30 pm

What You’ll Do (Job Duties)

The Maintenance Technician, supervised by the Chief Building Engineer, ensures upkeep and repair of common areas within the Association. Responsibilities include patching and painting, wallpaper repair, and cleaning engineering spaces. They also handle emergency preparedness and response, addressing issues such as floods, fires, power outages, and earthquakes promptly. Continuous hands-on training is provided to support these duties, with a focus on potential advancement to a full-time Building Engineer role.

Who You Are (Skills/Experience)

• Minimum of 1 year of Maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or property management
• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Hands on experience or course work in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, and Drywall is highly desired
