About This Position:

North American Forgemasters has an immediate opening for a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician. This full-time hourly role is based in New Castle, PA, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. Candidates should have a strong background in heavy industrial maintenance. If you are an ambitious self-starter passionate about manufacturing, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

• Follow all safety rules and meet safety program requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
• Perform daily duties including preventive maintenance on cranes and mobile equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to identify root causes
• Weld and repair mobile equipment
• Repair machines and equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, civil, and combustion systems
• Possess strong knowledge of power distribution and motor control, capable of repairing 480V systems
• Provide coverage for other maintenance technicians as needed
• Work on rotating shifts with required overtime
• Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. 1-3 years of heavy industrial maintenance experience
3. Hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical skills preferred
4. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts
7. Clean criminal background check
8. Negative drug screening upon employment offer
9. Commitment to safety
