Job summary

Gentex Corporation in Zeeland, Michigan, is seeking a Maintenance I – C to support manufacturing through routine maintenance and non-downtime events. You will perform pre-planned corrective and preventive maintenance on equipment, fixtures, and tooling, and assist in installing, modifying, and relocating equipment.

You’ll build skills by learning from experienced teammates while maintaining a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, vacuum, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Completion of the Standard Timing Model mechanical assessment.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Meet the Following Physical Demands: high hand dexterity, standing for 8 hours, climbing and lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-planned corrective and preventative maintenance tasks on equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
• Assemble and verify applicable fixtures and tooling.
• Assist in the installation, modification, and relocation of equipment.
• Develop and expand skills by learning from more experienced maintenance team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
