Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Conversion in Reno, NV to modify and adjust production equipment for new cell models and ensure safe, efficient operation. The role includes troubleshooting, following SOPs, and supporting production through operator duties when needed.

The technician will perform mechanical and electrical hardware changes, inspect and prepare incoming hardware, monitor gauges and sensors, and conduct regular preventive maintenance to keep lines running

Qualifications

• Learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the assigned production area.
• Assist with production tasks by performing operator duties when needed.
• Modify and adjust production equipment to support new models.

Responsibilities

• Measure and adjust cell dimensions to meet cell specifications.
• Inspect, organize, and prepare incoming hardware shipments for upcoming line conversions.

Description

The Maintenance Technician - Conversion is responsible for modifying and adjusting production equipment to support new product models and keeping machinery running safely and efficiently. This role performs mechanical and electrical updates, helps troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, and participates in process improvement efforts. The technician is also expected to learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for their assigned production area and assist with production tasks by performing operator duties when needed.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
