  • Operate and maintain equipment including tractors, mowers and handheld power tools.
  • Work with the public.
  • Complete various projects using a range of equipment.

Job description

Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a person for a part-time position as a Maintenance Technician I for Horizons Park. This will also be a floating position to cover possible vacancies at all Community Parks.

Work Schedule

March - November: Thursday - Saturday 6:30 am - 2:30 pm

November - February: Wednesday & Thursday 8 hours per day

Qualifications

Graduation from high school or GED and some experience in basic building or grounds maintenance.

A valid driver's license is required.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for the minimum requirements.
