Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in the United States seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and ad-hoc maintenance on a range of production equipment. You will work under supervision to learn assigned machines and support safe, efficient repairs in a busy facility.

This role requires 0–2 years of maintenance experience, strong problem-solving and teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, with apprentice or technical training a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• Apprentice and/or Vocational/Technical/Trade training (Preferred).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Reviews schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documentation to determine maintenance and repair needs
• Repairs or replaces worn or broker parts within machinery if necessary
• Follows all manufacturers specified and internal safety guidelines
• Performs repairs in a timely and efficient manner to minimize impact on production operations
• Collaborates with Production Team to diagnose performance issues with machinery
• Understands production processes and material flows
• Updates maintenance documentation accurately to ensure maintenance schedules are followed
