Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED AND one year of related experience AND completion of Commercial HVAC Certification and EPA Certification within 6 months.
• HVAC and EPA Certification with two years of related experience can lead to reassignment to Maintenance II.

Responsibilities

• Assists with troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC and multi-zone systems.
• Ensures proper care in use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes safety.
• Communicates status of work orders and requests inventory parts as needed.
• Performs routine facilities maintenance: light fixtures, filters, walls, painting and general upkeep.
• Supports wall removal, framing, drywall, tile work and related renovation tasks as needed.
