Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform inspections, routine maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery, equipment, and facility systems to keep operations running smoothly.

You will install equipment, read technical manuals and blueprints, use hand and power tools, follow safety procedures with PPE, and maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory. A High School diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine inspections and maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance according to procedures to ensure minimal downtime of equipment.
• Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the facility, including doors, windows, and flooring.
• Installs equipment, components, and systems with and without outside services.
• Identifies and reports potential safety hazards.
• Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, and inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Inspects tools, parts, and equipment regularly to ensure good working condition, and requests replacements as needed.
• Follows all safety regulations and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Other duties as assigned.
