Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician I to support maintenance across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack locations in Columbus. Under supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance, support system inspections, and assist with basic repairs while ensuring a safe environment.

You will handle building rounds, document activities, and follow safety procedures, with flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and off-hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus at least one year of related experience or training.
• Basic working knowledge of trade skills and mechanical systems; entry-level proficiency with power tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, use a work order system, and basic Microsoft Office programs.
• Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and off-hours; ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physical tasks including climbing, stooping, and standing.
