Liberty Military Housing in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep military family homes in safe, comfortable condition. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, while complying with safety standards and military regulations.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, ability to read work orders, and strong communication with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of residential, facilities, or maintenance work experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work orders.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on residential homes, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system issues to determine repair solutions.
• Respond to service requests and emergency maintenance calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct move-in, move-out, and routine home inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory using company systems.
• Follow all safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and military installation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, supervisors, and team members to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Assist with special projects, renovations, and community improvement initiatives as needed.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technicianis responsible formaintaining, repairing, and improving residential homes within a military housing community. This role plays a critical part in providing safe, reliable, andwell-maintainedhousing foractive-dutyservice members and their families. Technicians are empowered to independently troubleshoot issues and complete repairs while adhering to safety, quality, and military installation standards.
