Tru Vue Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to provide entry-level support to the maintenance team.

This role is ideal for candidates with some mechanical knowledge who are eager to learn and grow into a skilled technician. Responsibilities include performing Preventative Maintenance on equipment, assisting with repairs and troubleshooting, sandblasting, cleaning and preparing parts, and maintaining tools and work areas while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; basic mechanical knowledge preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools with attention to safety.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions; reliable and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PMs) on equipment.
• Support maintenance technicians with repairs and troubleshooting.
• Sandblast, clean, and prepare parts.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe, orderly condition.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and orderly condition.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.

Personal Attributes and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge or experience preferred.
• Ability to work with hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently interacts with individuals on the plant floor, near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the production environment is usually loud.

Pay Range

$24.01-27.00 per hour, plus $1.50/hour shift premium
