Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 2nd shift at our Wichita, KS facility. You will assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, the ability to read English-language manuals and blueprints, and the stamina to stand up to seven hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and monitor maintenance records.
• Address safety concerns and conduct indoor/outdoor housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and keep accurate maintenance records.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory suppliesand maintaining maintenance records.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years'experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
