Job Summary

Maintenance Technician I – 1st Shift, responsible for maintaining and repairing facilities systems on the Facilities and Maintenance Team in Duncan, South Carolina. The role is on‑site.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, repair, wire, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and controls related to production and building equipment, including motors, pumps, relays, circuit breakers, electronic machine controls and circuits, computers, printers, and other equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.
• Install and maintain a wide variety of complicated machine tools, test stands, and building equipment with minimal direction.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Extensive knowledge of electronic systems, components, and their functions.

Preferred Experience

• Trade school degree in electronics or previous electrical repair/wiring experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in electronics and machine maintenance.
• Microsoft Office and SAP experience, specifically in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Required lifting weight: minimum of 35 lbs daily.
• Required to stand for long periods of time (up to eight hours or more).
• Frequently twist and bend.
