Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.

You will perform preventive maintenance and maintain maintenance records. Qualified candidates have 2+ years of repair experience, can read English maintenance literature and blueprints, and possess basic MS Office

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience reading blueprints and interpreting diagrams.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and upkeep.
• Resolve safety concerns and maintain housekeeping.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
• Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $25.96 - $33.17/Hour. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
