Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse maintenance, including equipment repairs, MHE repairs, and PMs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, and other equipment.
• 1+ year in a production environment; 1+ year as Industrial Mechanic or similar role.

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of this role include equipment repairs, upgrades, installations, and modifications related to warehouse and packaging operations, including MHE repairs and preventive maintenance (PMs). This position provides general maintenance support to the Maintenance Technician I role and is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment, such as forklifts and other operational machinery. Additional responsibilities include supporting innovation and emerging technologies, such as robotics, AGVs, and other material handling solutions, as well as performing painting, landscaping, and general building maintenance tasks. This role also completes quarterly, bi-annual, and annual PMs according to the established schedule. Identify issues with high-speed equipment using technical specifications, ladder diagrams, Allen-Bradley PLCs, wiring prints, pneumatic logic, hydraulic logic, and a variety of troubleshooting and measuring tools. Install networking lines and equipment, including cameras. Demonstrate experience with and an understanding of the operation of forming plastics and bonding substrates using heat and pressure, while identifying machine issues when equipment operates outside acceptable specifications. Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace AC and DC electrical components, including batteries, control stations, fuses, motor starters, relays, switches, and timers. Install electrical outlets in compliance with applicable codes. Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components, including motors, reducers, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and transfer plates.

• Days: Monday –; Friday
• 2nd Shift
• Hours: 3:30 PM –; 11:30 PM
• Days: Sunday - Thursday
• Weekend Shift
• Hours: 6:30 AM –; 6:00 PM
• Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Pay: $27.24 per hour + Shift Differential for 2nd & Weekend ONLY

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse maintenance, including equipment repairs, MHE repairs, and preventive maintenance (PMs). Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, such as forklifts, conveyors, and other operational equipment. 1 year of production environment; 1 year of Industrial Mechanic or like role

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, or related educational training.

Role Purpose

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for most major equipment repairs, upgrades, installations and changes related to the warehouse and packaging operations, including MHE repairs and PM’s. This role will perform the quarterly, bi-annual and annual PMs as per schedule. This role will have assigned machines to which they will require intimate knowledge of the mechanical and electrical aspects of the machine.

Key Accountabilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain Kauffman, Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs along with associated Ladder Logic, Service and repair Vacuum pumps, Battery Changing equipment and Charging stations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain MHE through manufacturers recommended PM schedules
• Adjust and maintain fire suppression systems
• Support innovation and new technologies, i.e. robotics, AGV and other material handling innovations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain ABB and Fanuc Pick and Place robotics along with calibration and testing of arm and end of arm equipment
• Identify issues with high speed equipment including technical specs, ladder diagrams, Allen Bradley PLC, wiring prints, pneumatic logic, hydraulic logic, as well as a variety of troubleshooting and measuring equipment. Install networking lines and equipment, i.e. cameras.
• Have experience with, and understand the operation of, forming plastics and merging substrates with heat and pressure, and identify machine issues when operating outside of acceptable specs.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace AC and DC electrical equipment such as batteries, control stations, fuses, motor starters, relays, switches, and timers. Add electrical outlets within code.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, reducers, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and transfer plates
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace pneumatic equipment such as diverters, air compressors, lubricators, hoses, and coils
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace hydraulic equipment such as hoses, fittings, cylinders, and pumps
• Use welding equipment, basic machine shop and fabrication tools
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment such as but not limited to stretch wrappers, compactors and other power industrial equipment

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Trade School Certifications
• MHE Certifications
• Experience in the operation of high speed packaging equipment, including the operation of human interface robots and recipe storage, desirable
• 1+ years of experience MHE repair and maintenance.
• 1+ years of experience in a production environment.
• 1+ years of experience as Industrial Mechanic or like role.
