Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support an industrial laundry facility in Chandler, AZ. The role involves repairing and maintaining equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and records are kept up to date.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant experience, can read English maintenance literature and blueprints, and can stand for long periods. High school diploma required; welding and boiler knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment and systems (washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers).
• Assist with preventive/predictive maintenance and monitor safety concerns.
• Perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping and maintain maintenance records.
• Support inventory management of maintenance supplies.
• Support general facility maintenance tasks as needed.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory suppliesand maintaining maintenance records.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years'experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
• Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing
