Job summary

Monroe Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. Under the Community Manager, you will oversee building maintenance, safety, appearance within the budget and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry work, and inspections to meet resident needs. We offer insurance, a 401(k) with a 4% company match, paid holidays, vacation, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of maintenance experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair knowledge preferred.
• Experience in an affordable housing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, exterior structure.
• Perform property and unit inspections.
• Maintain property curb appeal and general cleanliness.
• Schedule and maintain Make-Ready Board.
• Purchase materials & budget management.
• Ensure Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing for residents.
